Jim Tressel

Jim Tressel is a former American football coach known for his successful tenure as the head coach of the Ohio State Buckeyes from 2001 to 2010. He is recognized for leading the team to multiple Big Ten Conference championships and winning the 2003 BCS National Championship. Tressel was known for his emphasis on discipline, academics, and integrity within the program. His coaching style focused on a strong running game and a solid defense. Tressel’s career, however, was marred by a scandal involving player misconduct and NCAA violations, which ultimately led to his resignation in 2011.
