Boxing

Boxing is a combat sport in which two participants, typically wearing padded gloves, engage in a contest of strength, speed, reflexes, and endurance by throwing punches at each other. The sport takes place in a square or rectangular area known as a ring. Boxers score points by landing legal blows on their opponent, and matches can be won by knockout (KO), technical knockout (TKO), or by decision of judges if the match goes the full duration. Boxing has a rich history and encompasses various styles and techniques, often classified into weight classes to ensure fair competition. It requires rigorous training, strategy, and physical conditioning.
